This deployment by the Nigerian Air Force definitely going to be seen as a welcome development by many a Plateau State citizen.
The State which is widely regarded as one of the most accommodating and serene in Nigeria, had be plagued in recent times with inter ethnic attacks, and deadly confrontations with Herdsmen
Earlier in the week an open letter from the Plateau Youth G-17 Peace and Progressive Forum to The President, highlighted the need for sterner measures to be taken as a result of the killings around Plateau State.
It stated that 29 persons were killed while many injured in Nkiedonwhro, Irigwe Chiefdom of Bassa LGA of Plateau State. With security personnel unable to curb attacks.
