Leicester City are currently eighteenth in the Premier League and have not won any of their past six league matches.

The permanent job was given to him after he steered the side away from relegation last season, with his side finishing twelfth in the English Premier League.

He won eight of his sixteen games in charge of the team last season, doing so memorably by winning his first five games in charge.

However his charges have not been able to churn out the results this season so far, losing on the opening day at Arsenal, and without a win in their last 6 matches.

He was let go after his side drew against West Brom, on Monday. Of the ten matches played in the season so far, Leicester have won three, lost four, and drawn three.

His sacking comes with mixed views however, as some feel the club should have given him the chance to salvage the situation after a good job coming off the back of last season.
