Tonight there will be 24 matches played in the UEFA Europa League Group stages.

This would be Match Day 3 as teams from all over Europe would be seeking to cement positions in their various groups.

Most notable in this round of fixtures would be the English representatives Everton and Arsenal.

They are expected to dominate their respective groups, although Everton drew to Apollon Limassol.

Arsenal did just enough to beat BATE Borisov away from the Emirates in the previous match.

Its been another season of inconsistencies for the North Londoners and many would look at this competition to be their best route back to the Champions League.

The Europa League may be Europe’s second tier tournament after the Champions League but it is still very competitive boasting the likes of former Champions League winners in participation.

It is however famous for throwing surprises at well established teams seeking glory.
